We Love Lace

OIDFA is different, indeed unique, in that it is an organization for lacemakers of different countries (currently over 40) with a focus that transcends nationality. OIDFA’s activities reflect its international focus.

The most obvious manifestation of this are the biennial Congresses, which have been held every two years since 1982. Experts from all over the world meet, show their lace, exchange ideas and share their knowledge. 

The 2018 congress 'We Love Lace' was held in Zaandam. The blue Klapr A4 briefcase was used to provide the participants with the necessities for the Needlepoint workshop. Participants from 10 different countries have taken the Klapr briefcase with OIDFA content home.
